If you like Mardi Gras, thank a Creole
After reading the Cat5's feature of The Mardi Gras Southeast Texas and it's so-called "weird mix" of "cowboy and Cajun" I laughed out loud "They forgot the Creole? Again?" - Pffffffft - if it's Zydeco, it's Creole, not Cajun - and cowboy isn't a "weird mix" for Creoles, what with a renowned history of Creole Cowboys and Zydeco Trail Rides. Creoles invented gumbo, king cakes, throwing beads and many of the Mardi Gras traditions we enjoy today - Cajuns, meanwhile brought chasing chickens to the party.
